Caroline & Rich
Caroline and Rich chose one of Edinburgh’s most iconic venues for their elegant wedding celebration, the historic Signet Library. This 19th century architectural masterpiece with its soaring columns, intricate wrought-iron balconies and endless shelves of antique books provided a breathtaking backdrop for their sophisticated city wedding.
“From our first meeting, we knew Duke Studios understood exactly what we wanted. The photos capture not just our wedding, but the magic of the Signet Library itself.”

The Signet Library Experience
An Established Setting
The Signet Library offers a self-contained and distinctive setting in the heart of Edinburgh. With its Georgian interiors, columned rooms and layered architectural detail, the space provides a strong sense of occasion without needing embellishment. Dom is very familiar with how the building works across its rooms and levels, and how events typically move through the space.
Light and Atmosphere
Natural light and interior lighting shape the atmosphere throughout the library’s Georgian rooms. Dom worked with those conditions as they shifted across the day, moving between spaces and adjusting quietly as the tone changed. The focus remained on reflecting the character of the building alongside the moments taking place within it.
Considered Coordination
Weddings at the Signet Library are supported by experienced event and hospitality teams. Drawing on his familiarity with the venue, Dom worked closely with those involved, ensuring photography fitted naturally around proceedings. Attention stayed on the experience itself, allowing the day to unfold with clarity and ease.
